Attendance and Flexibility
NorthStar is designed to preserve the benefits of a real schedule while allowing responsible flexibility. Students are expected to complete assigned learning days, participate in teacher-led sequences, submit required work, and maintain steady weekly progress.
When a day is interrupted
- Complete the highest-priority core lesson first.
- Move project work or independent practice to the recovery block.
- Use Friday mastery and recovery time to close small gaps.
- Record extended absences and create a return-to-learning plan.
Connect the daily rhythm to the full year.
